Our popular Skillshare series provides opportunities for social entrepreneurs and community leaders to spread Baltimore’s knowledge capital across the city. These peer-to-peer learning events empower you to gain new skills in areas like entrepreneurialism, leadership, social innovation, education, design, civics, arts, culture and more.
For more than a decade, changemakers have come out to hear from industry experts from Impact Hub’s network who are fellow entrepreneurs and partner organizations with experience in building impactful companies and organizations. You will be side-by-side with other innovators shaping tangible solutions for issues affecting our communities in Baltimore and beyond.
All Skillshares are free and open to the public, and most take place Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We are a bridge between sectors, neighborhoods, and networks. Our community is engaged in systems change and brings a unique, action-oriented perspective to conversations with leaders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, social justice, and public service.
The Network Breakfasts uplift a rotation of urgent community interests and evolved from one of our earliest events, SocEnt Breakfast. Continuing our decade-long tradition, we’ll connect you with leaders we admire from Impact Hub’s network to help you create progress.

As a co-operative-friendly city, Baltimore is the fastest growing ecosystem for worker cooperatives, and 2025 legislation encourages more to establish. The concept of a worker-cooperative may seem unfamiliar to some, but it is an old way of doing business with indigenous-inspired roots.
This is a space for cooperators in the Baltimore region to intentionally develop community, share about their work, brainstorm ideas and challenges, support each other, and engage in professional development.
